Granite Bay FC has a robust Referee Training Program. Referees age 12 and up can become certified through local training programs each year. Our Referee Development program involves a thoughtful strategy of pairing new referees with more experienced ones as they gain confidence. We also are careful to schedule new, young referees for matches that are for teams that are several years younger than the new referee. This careful planning is designed to allow young referees time to gain experience and confidence in a managed environment suitable to their stage of development.
For more information on becoming a certified referee, please contact our Referee Director Kris Zanardelli.
