Granite Bay FC has a robust Referee Training Program. Referees age 12 and up can become certified through local training programs each year. Our Referee Development program involves a thoughtful strategy of pairing new referees with more experienced ones as they gain confidence. We also are careful to schedule new, young referees for matches that are for teams that are several years younger than the new referee. This careful planning is designed to allow young referees time to gain experience and confidence in a managed environment suitable to their stage of development.

U6-U8 Game Facilitators
GBFC is looking for youth referee facilitators for U6-U8 4v4 games. You will be able to choose your availability as to not interfere with your own games or social plans. You will be paid $10/game. We advise working with a friend. You will each take a field as two 4v4 games are happening amongst the same two teams simultaneously. Minimum age is 12-13, but youth must be able to take charge, be assertive and is mature enough to take on this role. All you’ll need is a whistle and there will be a quick training as well!
