MEET THE COACH

I played youth soccer for River City United and San Juan growing up. Won (3) Far West Regionals & (1) National Championship with San Juan.
Attended Oakmont High School, played varsity all 4 years, Won (3) Division 1 section championships, All-Conference Soph, Jr, Sr year, League and Section player of the year my Jr, Sr year.
Attended San Jose State University. Played for men’s program all 4 years. Won Conference championship Jr & Sr year. All-West All American Soph year, All American 2nd team soph year. All-West Player of the year Jr & Sr Year, All American 1st team Jr, Sr year. Recently entered SJSU’s Men’s Soccer Hall of Fame last year 2019.
Drafted into Major League Soccer my senior year at SJSU. Drafted in the first round (#7 in the draft) to FC Dallas.
Played in Major League Soccer (MLS) 7 years: (Played for FC Dallas, LA Galaxy, NY Red Bulls & Vancouver Whitecaps.)
Played for the United States Youth National Team U17, Olympic Team U23 & U.S. Men’s National Team.
Coached youth futbol for the last 20 years. I have coached youth teams that have ranged from U10 thru U23 Reserve Teams throughout the country (Dallas, Los Angeles & Vancouver & Sacramento).
Last 10 years Coached most recently for Blues FC (Rocklin), Sacramento Republic FC Academy (Head Coach of U12’s, U15’s, Assistant coach U17’s) & Granite Bay U11’s.
