Coaching Notes
Alyssa will be going into her 1st season with GBFC as a head coach for teams. Her main emphasis and focus with her players is on the foundational development of technical and tactical skills in the game to understand how the players roles develop on and off the ball. In addition, to understanding the basics of the game to develop a strong IQ and knowledge all while enjoying the game of soccer. Alyssa hopes to teach her players how to work hard to achieve their goals and to focus on practices until they never get it wrong. She will strive to help her players understand quality touches and develop concepts of hard work and sportsmanship that can help develop the individual on and off the pitch.
Her love for soccer started at a young age of six years old. She started playing competitively at 9 years old for clubs in Elk Grove, CA. She understands the sacrifice it takes to be apart of competitive sports hoping to share her passion through coaching. She continued her career playing two years at the collegiate level. When she is not coaching she spends her time playing adult league around the Folsom and Sacramento area.
