Coaching Notes

Steven grew up playing competitive soccer in Colorado before playing Division I soccer at the United States Air Force Academy in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. During his time he earned two Second Team All-Conference honors and was named his team’s Most Valuable Player.

For the past year and a half, Steven has coached with GBFC while also owning and operating a youth soccer company focused on grassroots player development for ages 3–12.

Steven’s coaching philosophy emphasizes intelligent possession soccer, developing versatile players who can play multiple positions, stay composed under pressure, and make confident decisions on the ball. He believes in creating a competitive, positive, and fun environment where every player can reach their full potential.
