Jim has been playing soccer his whole life. He was a 3 year Varsity starter, Captain, and All League selection in High School. Jim continues to play adult soccer, and believes it is important to have a strong playing background to be able to relay and demonstrate soccer concepts to our young athletes. The Mustangs have experienced a strong upward trajectory of success since Coach Jim took on the team. They went from 2 wins in the Bronze division to finishing 1 point out of first place in the Gold division last year. Jim strives to teach the boys how to play soccer the right way that will most benefit their long term soccer careers.
Jim is also a local Little League Coach and Board member, and understands the importance of his players pursuing other sporting interests during the off season. Beyond the specifics of soccer, Jim focuses on developing young men who understand the correlation between hard work and reward, and demonstrate the highest level of sportsmanship and teamwork. The Mustangs will balance the focus on technical and tactical skills with fitness and understanding how to work within the team.
