Coaching Notes

My passion for soccer began growing up in Peru, where the game is a way of life. I have been playing since I could walk, and soccer has remained an important part of my life ever since.

I played competitively in high school at San Ramon Valley High School and continued playing competitive club soccer while attending UC Davis. These experiences helped me develop a strong understanding of the game and the importance of teamwork, discipline, and commitment.

Today, I continue to stay active in the sport by playing on a competitive indoor soccer team in the A Division of the 35+ league in Folsom. My experience playing in multiple positions over the years has given me a well-rounded perspective on the game and an appreciation for the skills and responsibilities of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards.

Through years of playing and observing the game, I have developed a strong understanding of the fundamentals that young players need to build a solid foundation. I enjoy helping players develop their technical skills, confidence, and understanding of the game while fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

I truly enjoy both playing and watching soccer, and I value the opportunity to share my passion and knowledge of the game with young players as they develop their skills and love for soccer.
