Coaching Notes

One of Coach Chris’ passions is volunteer coaching and teaching. Since 2008, he has volunteer coached roughly 3,000 plus children in basketball, soccer, and lacrosse over 50 seasons. Chris has coached all 5 of his children. His brother, Joe, and he founded Coach Chris Basketball in the Chicagoland area, a volunteer ran program that welcomed all skill levels and backgrounds and focused not only on the fundamentals of basketball, but the fundamentals of life. He recently helped initiate a similar program, The Bay Girls Basketball, in Granite Bay, CA. Coach Chris’ motto is, “Work Hard! Do Your Best! and Have Fun!” He believes doing these three things while maintaining a Growth Mindset will lead individuals to their passions in life and help them find happiness and true success, not only as players but as people.

Chris has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management (Marketing, Strategy & Management, Entrepreneurship & Innovation) and a BBA in Accounting and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame. He has 20 plus years of wide-ranging experience in management, accounting, finance, strategy, operations, and logistics spanning various fields. Currently, Chris serves as the CFO and COO of various organizations through his company, Jackson Consulting.
