Coaching Notes

Annie grew up playing competitive soccer throughout her childhood in the Sierra Nevadas as the only female player within her comp program. In conjunction, she played as the only female for her high school varsity team and by the time she was a senior, she was proud to recruit enough female interest and establish their first high school girls team which has since steadily grown into a very strong and successful program. Annie continued to play throughout her college and young adult years recreationally to remain active. Now, she happily has three young boys who have all grown to love the sport as much as she has, within the GBFC competitive program.

As a coach, Annie strives to provide players with a positive and encouraging environment. She aims to consistently challenge each player, further developing their skills, knowledge and love for the sport. Annie encourages her players to “play hard, play smart, and never give up.”
